Eyes Wide Open is the latest thing from the new metal capital of Sweden – Karlstad.With influences from many different genres, they have created a critically acclaimed sound that has been compared to bands like In Flames, Soilwork and Dark Tranquillity. Since the release of their debut EP, Revelations (produced by Rickard Löfgren, Leon Music) the reviews have been pouring in with brilliant results. Rocknytt – “It didn´t take long for me to realize how awesome this is” 9,5/10 Metalcentral – “They place themselves among In Flames and Sonic Syndicate but personally I prefer EWO” 7/10 Rocksverige – “The songs are so damn good that I don’t even want to think about choosing a favourite” 9/10 This caught the attention of HornsUp Agency, who immediately signed the guys.
