KAIRA

The band was formed in the middle of 2006 in Belarus by Pavel Drozdov (music, guitar) and Kaira (lyrics, vocal). From 2006 till 2009 Kaira and Pavel worked only with sessional musicians, both in studio and at concerts, releasing albums only in Russian. By that time three albums released in Power-Symphonic-Metal style on the Russian leading label Irond Ltd. A long period of time each of these albums was taking the first line in charts of Dark City magazine, the first musical Russian magazine of heavy music. With a new line up in 2009 the style of music and its sound radically changed. The following album «Child Of Fire» sounded in Industrial – Symphonic – Metal style and sparked interest of distributors from Australia, New Zealand, America and England, «Child Of Fire» was released on Irond Ltd label.
After perfoming several concerts the band started to work hard under their following album «Late Stone Age» and decided to record «Late Stone Age» and the next albums only in English. Such decision was taken by the band members to show themselves outside Russia. Only because of numerous requests from Russian fans the group released some singles in Russian. In 2010 «Late Stone Age» was rotated on metal-radios and took positive reviews, the band gave interviews to many European magazines. After that the album’s popularity dramatically increased among listeners of the West European countries and America. Thanks to that the band took the first line in chart on Myspace among metals bands of the Russian Federation.
With inviting the second vocalist in 2011 the band changed the sound and started to work under their next album «Not For Angels». The album received such a title because of the aggressive sounding, alternative texts/lyrics and emotional vocal technique of the two vocalists. According to the musicians the style they’re playing now is called Groove/Metalcore. Though each listener names this style differently. The album was recorded at Thelema studio, album mixing was made at Frost Records studio.
After 5 months of fruitful work at the studio, the group has created the most powerful album for today

Hammerforce is independent Power/Progressive Synth Driven Metal band from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. It released 2 full length albums: "Dice" (2009) and "Access Denied" (2013). Band's music is unconventional mixture of solid guitar riffs, impressive Electro/Trance synths, high-pitched Heavy Metal vocals and sudden Progressive interludes, all performed and recorded on the highest production level.

Im April 2012 veröffentlichte Alexander Paul Blake sein schwarzmetallisches Solodebüt "Die Rückkehr ins Goldene Zeitalter" unter eigenem Namen – schon im April 2013 meldet er sich mit dem Nachfolger zurück. Dieser erscheint dann überraschenderweise unter dem Projektnamen Aethernaeum. Wie kommt es dazu?" Ich wollte erreichen, dass die Musik mehr für sich stehend wahrgenommen wird und sich die Aufmerksamkeit nicht so stark auf mich als Person richtet", erklärt Blake seine Beweggründe." Außerdem waren am neuen Album mehrere kreative Geister beteiligt. "So ging der Berliner Tausendsassa direkt nach dem Debüt diesen ungewöhnlichen Schritt und drückt nun auch namentlich aus, welche beiden Säulen das Aethernaeum-Konzept bilden, denn es handelt sich um eine Wortneuschöpfung aus Athenäum (einer literarischen Zeitschrift der Romantik) und Äther. "Der Name vereint den Bezug auf die Epoche der Romantik und generell Spiritualität", so der Musiker. "Für mich symbolisiert er Sehnsucht nach Transzendenz, Nähe zur Natur, Bezug auf Mythen und die Betonung von Leidenschaft und Individualität."

Musikalisch dagegen soll die Marschroute des Vorgängers fortgeführt werden. Sprich: Es gibt naturmystischen Folk Black Metal, der sowohl harsche Momente der Raserei als auch stille Ambient- und Folklore-Passagen und epische, erhabene Parts vereint. Die diesmal noch längeren Stücke dauern nicht selten über zehn Minuten und es wird viel Wert auf Atmosphäre gelegt. Sogar Geige und Cello kommen zu Einsatz. Deutlich druckvoller als das bewusst spartanisch und schroff gehaltene Debüt prescht der von Blake wieder selbst produzierte neue Longplayer aus den Boxen. Angesprochen fühlen dürfen sich Hörer von naturverbundenem Black Metal à la Wolves In The Throne Room, Burzum oder frühen In The Woods... ebenso wie Freunde von Agalloch, Vintersorg oder Moonsorrow.
