KODEKS

Kodeks is a metal band based in Oslo, rooted in Bodø and Harstad. The band consists of four guys, one from the south of Norway and three from the north.
Kodeks sprang to life in June 2013 and by the end of september they released their debut EP. The music is heavy, riff based and melodic with a clear influence from bands like Muse, Linkin Park and Killswitch Engage. The music is also spangled with big synths and arrangements rooted in electronic music, video game and movie music.
The lyrics are written and performed with a northern Norwegian dialect, which emphasizes their unique expression. The band is working towards playing concerts both in Norway and abroad, conquering as many metal loving hearts as possible.
