Synlakross is a band with a melodic death metal base was born in Valencia (Spain), in 2008, by Pablo Fuentes (bass and main songwriter) and Tiko Martinez (drums). It was not until 2010 when the band closed the formation with the incorporation of Ivan Munoz on guitar and Patricia Pons to the vocals. In 2011 they recorded the demo "Synlakross 2011" with which were finalists in competition the "Crea tu disco" and included in the compilation of the same name. In October 2012 Adrian Ferrer guitarist left the band for health reasons, taking his place Horacio Bort. In December 2012 were semifinalists in the competition "Viña´s Road" organized by Onda Valencia and Viña Rock festival.

The first work of the band "Synlakross demo 2011" (self-released) was published and distributed online with free download. Then have released two singles with new tracks. The first song at the end of 2012 with which they recorded a video: "Dragon Egg" (2012) devoted entirely to their fans, song that opened the door to play with the French "Vera Cruz" in their spanish tour, and has been well received by the sector radios. The second was released in February 2013 and in March 2013 they recorded the video "Gravity".

The debut album "Melodichrome" (2013, self-released) is a thematic album that is full of references to Transhumanism, space travel, Cyborgs, and other elements of the cyberpunk culture. Elements that fit perfectly with a strong inspiration in our time classic games like Metroid and Final Fantasy, manga Gunnm (Battle Angel Alita) or doctrines of Nicola Tesla.

The single “Paper In A History” is the theme chosen to present the debut album of Synlakross. It's a song with transhumanist inspiration, where the protagonist leaves aside his human body through mechanical improvements to become in perfect and immortal creature, or as popularly knowns “Mecha”, which means “Mechanical”. The Lp was released on December 7 and is available on Itunes, Amazon, Deezer, Rhapsody and Spotify. Physical CD for collectors on sale through the website of the band. Now their objective is to continue giving a forceful lives with the promotion of their debut album "Melodichrome" and introduce themselves to the public by a inminent tour. The band's sound is based on a raw drums that surprise in details, accompanied by a sharp and brutal bass that gives strength to a powerfull riffs with original melodies and solos, full of nuances. The voice perfectly complements the music with melodic clean vocals in contrasted to guttural vocals with emotional performances that plays with the registers to shape a lyrics full of feeling and fantasy.
